The physical parameters for the model for the simplified zonally averaged
two-dimensional model calculations are described in within the article. As a
summary:
tau0 = peak wind forcing (in N m^-2)
alpha = non-dimensional eddy efficiency parameter
lambda = domain eddy energy dissipation rate (in s^-1)
transport = diagnosed domain integrated circumpolar transport (in m^3 s^-1)
E = diagnosed domain-averaged eddy energy (in m^2 s^-2)
kappa(_0) = diagnosed GM coefficient / reference values (in m^2 s^-1)
Data are stored in standard MATLAB formats (.mat file extension).
