The group used mouse chimaeras, X-inactivation mosaics and transgenic mice for different studies. Their main interest was how cell production (from stem cells), proliferation, migration and loss are balanced in the mouse corneal epithelium to maintain a normal tissue and how this can go wrong in mutant mice with abnormal corneal epithelia.

Data for re-evaluation of the causes of variation among mouse aggregation chimaeras
The data are numerical data used to produce Figs. 2 & 5, Supplementary Figs. S3–S6 and Supplementary Table S2 in a manuscript entitled “Re-evaluation of the causes of variation among mouse aggregation chimaeras” by West ... -
Data from computer simulation of neutral drift among limbal epithelial stem cells of mosaic mice
It was previously shown that limbal epithelial stem cells (LESCs) around the periphery of the cornea maintain radial sectors of the corneal epithelium but that radial stripe numbers declined with age in mosaic mice. ... -
Data on selection against BALB/c strain cells in mouse chimaeras
The data are numerical data used to produce Figs. 2, 3 & 4 and Supplementary Tables S1, S2 & S3 in a manuscript entitled "Selection against BALB/c strain cells in mouse chimaeras" by Tang P-C, Mackay GE, Flockhart JH, ... -
Data on the composition of four balanced and four unbalanced series of E12.5 fetal mouse chimaeras
This is numerical data used to compare the composition of different series of fetal mouse chimaeras. Eight series of chimaeras were created as matched pairs in four studies and the composition of each chimaeric conceptus ... -
Data for Comparison of two lines of tauGFP transgenic mice designed for lineage tracing
The data are numerical data used to produce some figures and tables for a manuscript comparing two lines of tauGFP transgenic mice designed for lineage tracing. Study Abstract: The tauGFP reporter fusion protein is produced ... -
GPI null mouse chimaera data_Biology Open paper 2016
The data are numerical data used to produce Figs. 3, 6 and 7 in Keighren MA, Flockhart JH and West JD, 2016 Survival of glucose phosphate isomerase null somatic cells and germ cells in adult mouse chimaeras. Biology Open ... -
Lineage tracing in the adult mouse corneal epithelium supports the limbal epithelial stem cell hypothesis with intermittent periods of stem cell quiescence
The limbal epithelial stem cell (LESC) hypothesis proposes that LESCs in the corneal limbus maintain the corneal epithelium both during normal homeostasis and wound repair. The alternative corneal epithelial stem cell ...
