EuroGlobalMap GB

Abstract

EuroGlobalMap is a 1:1 million scale topographic dataset covering 45 countries and territories in the European region. EuroGlobalMap is perfect for use as background to many applications from planning, monitoring and network analysis to presenting environmental policies. The dataset contains six themes: Administrative boundaries/The water network/Tranport networks/Settlements/Elevation/Names locations. Simple, but useful at certain scales. This data was originally in ETRS89 and has been transformed into OSGB 1936. Layer files have also bee created to mimic OS Stratergi data. When using this data, please attribute the source as EuroGeographics and refer to their Opendata licence which can be found here: http://www.eurogeographics.org/content/eurogeographics-euroglobalmap-opendata.
