Mean high water (springs) polygon. The polygon represents an average measure of the highest tides over a long period of time (in colloquial terms this is equivalent to the 'high tide mark'). The term ‘springs’ denotes tides that are higher than average. This data was extracted from Ordnance Survey Boundary Line and polygonised using ArcGIS 10.2.
